The proposal was to provide internal function spaces suitable for a property of this scale and grandeur, as well as incorporate the external basement access within the internal layout.

The contemporary flat-roof extension and fully glazed orangery create a well-balanced addition that preserves the architectural character of the existing house while providing the extra internal space required.

Externally, neutral materials have been used to blend the proposed works back into the existing fabric.
